A man, presumed dead, who walks off Ethan's examination table leads the team to a shocking discovery.
No one expected this. When Ethan walks away during his examination of a body, the body literally walks away. Of course, we're given some biological reasoning why the living person appeared dead. What is more important is the engrossing story that follows.
Two guys, one a jerk and the other a highly successful person in the political arena are bonded by the fact that years before the former saved the latter's life with a much needed bone marrow operation.
The successful one always went to bat for the jerk because he was indebted to him. Ultimately, during one of these occasions, he forfeited his life due to this.
The surprising ending naturally has where the obvious culprits had nothing to do with the crime. It's always the stench of politics that get involved here.
