This forty-one minute documentary offers a pretty engrossing and informative glimpse into the making of the horror comedy "Doghouse." Among the people interviewed are director Jake West, writer Dan Schaffer, actors Danny Dyer, Stephen Graham, Noel Clarke, Lee Ingleby, Terry Stone, and Terry Stone, and actresses Emily Booth and Victoria Hopkins. Schaffer reveals that he came up with the idea for the story after his girlfriend got sick. The male cast members became a group of mates in real life just like their characters in the movie. The actresses who played the zombirds spent about three hours each day having their make-up applied. The village of Moodley was actually an elaborate set built in an old abandoned hospital; the cast and crew lived in this place throughout the shooting of the picture. Moreover, the cast and crew were plagued by wasps during the filming of the movie, this picture was shot on a digital camera, and West made it a point to use CGI effects as little as possible. Worth a watch for fans of this film.
