There was no script when production began. Christopher Jones would give everyone vague direction of what he wanted, but no one understood what was going on or what the end goal was. After this was voiced to him, he would type a scene with dialog on his computer and actors would read it off the screen. This continued for sometime before more complaints yielded some printed scripted material.
Initially planned for a release of July 27th, 2007, only half of the movie was completed, but screened anyway and without explanation to the audience in attendance. The audience was confused when the movie stopped abruptly and were told that it was not completed, despite paying full admission for what they thought was a finished film. When asked why the screening wasn't postponed, the filmmaker answered "I wanted to have 7.27.07 on the poster". Weeks later, a second screening for the completed film resulted in a compatibility error, where the DVD would not read in the theater's projector. The movie was not screened and the theater had to issue refunds to the distraught paying audience. Finally, a third screening came to pass, and free admission was given to recruit the jaded audience back to the theater.
