Storyline

The Pan Am crew rolls the dice in more ways than one in glamorous Monte Carlo: Kate and Maggie square off for the attentions of a handsome passenger, but things get more complicated when Kate learns the sexy stranger is involved in her next covert mission; and Dean gambles with his career when an attractive, wealthy woman on the flight tempts him -- and he later discovers who her flying companion is. Goofs

When the Pan Am Boeing 707 is shown on what appears to be about a five mile final approach to landing at the Nice airport, the landing gear is down, but no flaps or slats are extended. The aircraft would be fully configured for landing by at least five miles out, at the final approach fix, with the gear down and full flaps. The aircraft's stall speed without flaps and slats (Leading Edge Devices that help generate a great amount of lift at low speeds) would be so high the aircraft couldn't touch down slowly enough to stop on almost any civilian runway. Dean Lowrey: Yeah.
[looks through his pockets]
Colette Valois: Did you lose something?
Dean Lowrey: I had a tin of aspirin.
Colette Valois: Monte Carlo - always too much of a party.
Dean Lowrey: Too much of something.
Colette Valois: High wire, perhaps? Always loved walking it myself, although sometimes it's helpful to have a net.
Dean Lowrey: Where's the fun in that?
