Upon being cast, Giovanna Kline had no knowledge of the contents of the story. She was surprised to learn that the film featured a bullfrog named Mr Ribbits. She happened to have a pet bullfrog named: Mr Ribbits. Director Jeff Orens thought this was a fascinating coincidence and ended up using her pet bullfrog in the film.
Three animals were used during the production of this film. Spike, a chihuahua, featured during the Activist Rally Scene, belongs to Producer Carrie Orens. Mr Ribbits, a bullfrog, belongs to actress Giovanna Kline. Grextor, a fire-belly toad, belongs to Writer/Director Jeff Orens.
Prince Percival's outfit worn by actor Matthew Nadu was a custom design created and donated by Wardrobe/Costume Designer Mary Orens of Pins & Needles Custom Sewing Studio located in Sewell, New Jersey. The Fairy God Mother's toga was donated to the film by Bridal and Costuming by Lady Gwendolyn in Pitman, New Jersey.
