Storyline
A warm-hearted drama about a divorced father who takes his six year old son out for the day. He hardly knows him anymore and is very afraid to make mistakes. However the car brakes down and the father finds himself struggling to think of things to say to his son, who seems longing to go home. The father finally reveals his 'surprise' taking his son to 'the Kid Show' in a cinema that appears to be a scruffy old and empty place, run by a senile old man. His desperate attempts to make his son happy make it all worse and worse.
