Billy Burke had originally been cast as Monroe, but after a day was given the role of Miles.
1 year after the show was cancelled, it was brought back in a digital comic book series called Revolution: Endgame. There were 4 chapters, to wrap up the series big questions that were left from the show.
There are several references to author Stephen King throughout the series including episode titles 'The Stand' and 'The Dark Tower' and Miles' pseudonym in Season 2 is 'Stu Redman' one of the central characters in 'The Stand'.
Andrea Roth played Rachel Matheson in the pilot but was replaced by Elizabeth Mitchell for the series after the character was reworked.
The titles for a large number of episodes are taken from popular fiction 'Patriot Games', music 'Kashmir' or movies 'Children of Men'.
Some of the episode names in the first season are Led Zeppelin song titles, such as: Kashmir, Nobody's Fault But Mine, The Song Remains The Same & No Quarter

Billy Burke's character is called "Miles Matheson". In Day 2 of the TV series "24", he played a guy named "Gary Matheson".

In the Revolution Digital Comic Book Series, it was revealed that Miles is Charlie's father.
The character of Maggie Foster was originally intended to remain on the series for a longer period of time but after reworking the pilot, the decision was made to kill the character off after a few episodes.
