Unearthed Films and Plotdigger Films are proud to announce the DVD release of Ryan Nicholson’s (Gutterballs, Hanger, Live Feed) extreme horror Collar; which sees a rookie cop starts her shift like any other but soon it will all change for the worse. A derelict with a reputation of satanic violence, attacks the officer and collars her with a dog leash which is just the start of his abusive ritual.
Collar stars Nick Principe, who played Chromeskull in Laid to Rest 1 and 2, as a satanic derelict with a taste for human flesh who terrorizes skid row’s prostitutes, junkies and homeless, escalating his level of violence after he abducts a rookie cop played by Aidan Dee (Caprica, A Dangerous Man), on a routine patrol. The film also stars Mackenzie Murdock (Father’s Day, Manborg), Ronald Thompson (Hanger) and Mihola Terzik (Gutterballs).

Blood Red Films and the filmmakers of Axeman 2: Overkill, the next installment in 80’s throwback slasher franchise, are pleased to announce the cast of the film, which picks up the story where the original 2014 film Axeman left off and will deliver a new chapter in the Axeman At Cutter’s Creek saga with the goal of making it darker, grittier and bloodier than the original.
The cast includes an all new actor in the iconic villain role of Bill “The Axeman” Talbert, an exciting cast of principle actors and written and directed by Joston “El Rey” Theney.

For those who love independent, underground horror, you will want to get yourself to Syracuse, NY, on May 31st for Slaughter in Syracuse 2014, an event that will feature some of the biggest names in underground indie horror, movie screenings, and Q&As.
Vultra Video, in association with Beneath the Underground, presents Slaughter in Syracuse 2014. Among those in attendance will be Fred and Shelby Vogel of Toetag Pictures, Ryan Nicholson, Marcus Koch, Adam Ahlbrandt, Jimmy Screamer Clauz, Ruby Larocca, and Matt Garrett.
Many of the filmmakers and actors in attendance will be doing Q&As after their movies are screened. The Q&A's will be hosted by Dread Central and Fangoria writer Heather Buckley.
