Quotes

Grouchy: [to a Snow-Snurf] Isn't Christmas about getting what you want? Well, I want a hang glider! Why do I even bother to celebrate Christmas if all I ever get is THIS - the same old boring useless hat? I mean, how many hats does a Smurf need?
[the Snow-Smurf's head falls on Grouchy]
Grouchy: Oh, who asked you? I... HATE... HATS!

It's called A Christmas Carol for a reason
20 December 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I read the other review on this film and have to disagree totally. Every movie I've ever seen about A Christmas Carol has the guy who hates Christmas and is visited by the 3 ghost of Christmas Past, Present and future to show them how things would be different if they kept upon their negative ways. That's all this movie does is follow the same formula as all the others that came before it.

Did I find it negative and did it leave me feeling that way? No. It teaches one of the smurfs how his actions affect everyone and he learns and it leads to a very happy ending!

My daughter really enjoyed this and I believe it takes all the adult movies of the same theme and puts it on a level for children to understand. Did A Christmas Carol with Micky Mouse leave a negative feeling for you too? It was the same movie just longer?
