The Art of the Matter (#9.6)
14 April 2015 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

This time they design an avant garde outfit based on the paintings of kids from an art school.

I am not a fan of avant garde, as I never know if it is good or not! It is usually too out there. I loved see them work with kids though. The girl working with Viktor, adorable! Especially since she just could not keep quiet but was so persuasive. Bert got somebody as quiet as him, good pairing up. And the "little Dalai Lama" that got to work with Laura was also cute. The rest we didn't see much of.

Like I said I never know if avant garde is good or not. I did like what Anthony did though so I see him as a great winner. The other ones I liked were Becky and Viktor.

I am glad Bert stayed in, it was ugly as hell, but very avant garde. Oliver's was sure the worst one, not even able to capture the idea of the picture and its feeling. But at least it was avant garde. Said to see Josh go again, he never did well on this show at all. Maybe he was just still working on switching his careers and ways of thinking. I didn't think that dress was so ugly, but very plain for this competition. Maybe using fir would actually help him.
