Jay, After many years of watching you in your past endeavors the present Garage series is by far the most interesting and informative "Car" show that I have ever seen. I have watched them all; with the exception of "Overhauling" (with Chip Foose which I personally find very entertaining because of how Chip participates at all levels of the overhaul) and most of the "car" shows have become a poor boys challenge of using someones $80,000 to fix up their car and give it body work and a new paint job.
It truly appears that you are happy in this new series. The way that you interact and share your interest with the participants and the viewers has led me to write this little review to share my comments.
I hope you will continue to developer new and different episodes that explore and investigate the marvels, history, and the future of the automobile and how it has been a part of our lives.
The first car that I remember my dad had as our family car was a 1955 Buick Roadmaster. Every-time I see that vehicle on your show or commercials it brings back special memories from my childhood and how that car was almost like a family member. My dad was an auto body repairman. I have seen him work on so many cars over my life. I am positive that he would have truly enjoyed your new program. If I could have set with him to share one of your shows he would have added a wealth of additional history to the discussion and I would have gained a new perspective of the history of how all the cars that he owned (from his first Model A that he had before going off to serve in WW2 to his last car, a 1967 Buick Electra 225) And my first car that I bought when joining the Air Force was a 1973 Buick Riviera.
Great show keep sharing the history of cars with us. I will never miss an episode, Thank God for my DVR.
