The fugitives follow the trail of Cacho Aguilera, with whom they negotiate an exchange of Salamanca's daughter, Irma, and Aguilera's son, Iván. Irma is in the hands of the Buitre, a sadistic narco in Cacho's gang, who is abusing her. Tegui communicates with Inspector Oliva and lays a trap for him to prove that he has sold out to Cacho Aguilera's cartel. In prison, Kika Ferragut is transferred from her cell and, fearing for her life, tells her sons that time is running out. The exchange of the hostages is worked out to take place in the mountains; however, Iván dies before the handover and Marcos Oliva, who has been tipped off by Aguilera, informs his people of the presence of the fugitives in the area. In the end, Tegui turns the tables and the fugitives hand over Inspector Oliva, passing him off as Iván Aguilera, while managing to recover Irma, then once again they are on the lam.The bonds among the four fugitives begin to grow tighter. No one really trusts anyone else, but they all know they need one another to survive.
