Alicia and Will are forced into court-ordered mediation, and one of Will's ex girlfriends is opposing counsel. Meanwhile, the Wisconsin Dairy Guild hires Eli for damage control, and Owen becomes curious about Alicia's personal life.

Storyline

Alicia and Will - along with several other staff members - are stuck in a hotel working with a mediator to try and settle a lawsuit. The head of the opposing team is Will's ex Celeste Serrano and she knows Will's way of thinking all too well. They're both quite adept at manipulating the other, to the consternation of the mediator. Back at the office, Eli is hired by the Wisconsin dairy industry when an outbreak of food poisoning in Chicago schools is blamed on cheese from that State. Kalinda helps him out getting key information but Eli soon finds that he's become part of the story.

Litigation and Love ***1/2

What's this? Alicia's brother, a math college professor, is now babysitting and doing the laundry? I know the economy is tough, but this is somewhat ridiculous. Imagine, Alicia's mother-in-law catches him and his partner together in the apartment.

All that aside, we have another engrossing tale here involving Lockhart-Gardner in a cat and mouse game with an opposing group involving a lawsuit regarding medical negligence and resulting constant pain. Seems that the opposing attorney is another of Gardner's for girlfriend and she will stop at nothing to win her case, even if this means making Alicia jealous.

A side-bar issue is the lawsuit involving tainted cheese.

Alicia has definitely become more sexual and Will is the recipient of her affections.
