Nice purpose, but forgettable movie

"Back for the Future" is a 3-minute short film from 4 years ago and the title tells you already that it is a little spoof on "Back to the Future". Fittingly, the film's director is Frank Marshall, a 5-time Oscar nominee and produced of the original "Back to the Future". Some fairly famous names in the cast here: Christopher Lloyd and Bill Hader are joined by NBA superstar Kevin Durant very early in his career. This little movie was made to promote an auction that was for a honorable cause. Unfortunately, the film is not as honorable or at least funny. Fairly forgettable effort I must say, like one of these weaker Funnyordie segments. All in all, not recommended unless you are a huge "Back to the Future" fan.
