While the team investigates an murder, a gas leak provides for a coincidental explosion that threatens to hamper the investigation.

The episode just goes to show you how low the tentacles of crime can reach. If it weren't for the Poppy Montgomery character, who could envision that the prison guards were in with the crooks. Of course, naturally, we have the prison guard who breaks down. It seems that the group has kidnapped his daughter and threatened the child with bodily harm if he speaks out.

We just know where Poppy and her ex-boyfriend are headed to. After all, living in the fancy buildings for him and his new flame just don't seem to be in the cards. We all know why this is so.
