Jennifer Saunders Committed To Ab Fab Movie

Jennifer Saunders, creator and star of iconic British sitcom "Absolutely Fabulous," says she's finally set to write a script for a film version of the series.

Appearing on "The Jonathan Ross Show" (via The Wrap), Saunders says she remains worried about doing something that doesn't work:

"Well I have to do it now because I've threatened to a lot. It's like the second album syndrome. Once you've had a bit of success, the last thing you want to do is go and make a flop. So the biggest fear in me is that it won't be good enough. I'm really nervous about it."

Though first broadcast in 1992, the show has been on and off the air with various specials and episodes over the past twenty years. The most recent was July 2012's Olympics episode. »
