Playing with Fire: Part 2

Warning: Spoilers
DS Annie Cabbot has got too close with Mark Keane the art expert.

Banks is unhappy as any relationship could compromise Keane's position as a potential expert witness.

However Cabbot feels lets down by Keane when she finds out about his gallery's involvement in providing provenance to forged art works.

Banks realises that Dr Aspern has been pushing his buttons to provoke him, because he is certainly hiding something and manipulating his much younger wife.

There were several leaps taken in the concluding episode by Banks which made you think how did he get that. Maybe it was the writer just getting himself out from a tight spot.

Despite the serious tone, a character managed to do an impression of DCI Taggart with 'There's been a murder' in a Scots accent.
