Sex and drugs- getting hooked and getting off- can be addicting. For Drew, eking out a mundane life in Waterville, Maine, it is resisting the illicit pleasure in New York; for Mistress DaTina, it means operating a sex and drug den to cope with her life. Written by
Another Verow film with Brad Hallowell in the leading role. He looks more yummy in every new film. This film offers a flimsy surreal story, but provides beautiful imagery: male nudity, kaleidoscopic visual effects, and animation all blend into one and are put to good use. The scene that is underscored by the aMinus song: Quarter to Nine, is the highlight for me. The miss DaTina storyline is not to my liking. The PnP scenes are at times quite spot on about meth orgies, but I would have liked a decor for those scenes that wouldn't look like a middle school handicrafts school project.
Overall this film is enjoyable, but loses its ground a bit by the second half.
