If you’ve paid attention to the words Kevin Smith has used to describe the Batsuit that director Zack Snyder showed him, you probably have some sense of the general color scheme Ben Affleck will be wearing as the Caped Crusader in Batman Vs. Superman. Smith called the version he saw Affleck modeling “a very familiar Batman,” but that it “didn’t look like any of the cinematic Batmans that have ever gone before.” He also added that it’s “the suit you all wanted to see.” Reading between the lines, you can guess that this is either a grey/black or grey/blue suit that we’ve grown up seeing in the comics, but never on the big screen.
Our friends at Latino-Review have a possible description of not one, but Two suits that Affleck will wear in the film. Marvelous Dave had this to say »

The rumor mill keeps churning regarding the upcoming "Batman vs. Superman" project, today it's in regards to costuming.
A source for Latino Review claims that Ben Affleck will be sporting two Batsuits in the upcoming film. The first is a traditional 'grey and blue' suit number which the likes of Kevin Smith and Jennifer Garner have spoken about. According to their source the other is:
"More armored like the one in the Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Kingdom Come comics... the plating is silver/white. The plates are attached to a black undercloth and don't cover his entire body so we see that undercloth at the joints. Supposedly, it looks incredible. Equally, or maybe even better-looking than the other suit and it's leagues above and beyond Christian Bale's suit from what I'm told."
Their source also claims a first look at Affleck in the first suit will happen »

Latino Review is at it again with their constant 'big scoop' rumors, today confirming from various inside sources that there will be two Batsuits featured in Batman Vs. Superman.
The first suit is the one we've heard about before, which both Kevin Smith and Ben Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner have seen. It is reportedly a more traditional grey and blue suit, yet at the same time, its like nothing we've ever seen before. There will also be a second suit that is made of armor.
This is what Latino Review first had to say about the two suits featured in Batman Vs. Superman.
"The more interesting thing I've heard is that Batman will actually wear 2 Batsuits in the film, but where as Grey-and-Blue has already been designed and Ben Affleck has worn it, the second Batsuits is more armored like the one in the Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Kingdom Come comics. »
Welcome to Issue #30 of The Marvelous Da7e!
Well well, I’m so used to this time of year being an endless discussion of Academy Award nominees and Sundance movies that I bought my comics re-read list for Captain America; The Winter Soldier (starting with the 2 Winter Soldier TPBs and Nick Fury Vs. S.H.I.E.L.D.) way too soon. Quietly, Warner Bros moves Man of Steel 2/Batman Vs. Superman/Superman Vs. Batman to May 2016. When I say “quietly,” I mean they dumped it late afternoon Friday the day Sundance started, so: when there weren’t a lot of news sites watching.
But, they hadn’t counted on the reporting sphere they’ve created. The Marvel/DC/Star Wars sphere that is never-sleeping and always hungry. The sphere I now live in full time. The place where people talk about what they’ve heard and then some »
In December, it was heavily rumored that Joaquin Phoenix is wanted by Warner Bros. and DC Comics to play one of two major villains in the upcoming Man of Steel, tentatively titled Batman Vs. Superman. Today's report claims that the studio is actively pursuing the actor for the role of iconic Superman foe Lex Luthor, and that he is 'very close' to signing his deal.
This news comes amidst a ton of new details and information about the project, including reinvented looks for both Batman and Superman, and the real reason behind the release date delay, which was first blamed on a leg injury Ben Affleck had sustained last week.
Production was initially scheduled to begin next month in Michigan, but it was said that shooting was being pushed by six-weeks, with a new March start date being eye. Later that same day, Warner Bros. officially announced that Batman Vs. Superman »
