Goofs
The vehicle entry and starting method Adam demonstrates would not work on a majority of vehicles with a remote entry system- the steering wheel remains locked even if the doors are unlocked and the engine is running. On the GM models in particular, if it is remote started as shown, it times out after 10 minutes and stops the engine. Putting the vehicle in gear also stops the engine.
