Goofs

When the Berlin airport where JFK's Air Force One is landed in 1963 appears, the present main terminal of Berlin's Tegel airport is shown. The terminal went in service in 1974. Even then, an American president would always have landed in Berlin-Tempelhof, the airport in the U. S. sector, not in Berlin-Tegel, which lies in the former French sector. See more »

Quotes

Dean Lowrey: [steadies Colette after she stumbles on the steps to the plane and nearly loses her balance] You OK?
Colette Valois: I'm fine, thank you.
Dean Lowrey: [sensing all is not well with Colette] You sure?
Colette Valois: No. I owe you an apology. I didn't mean to embarrass you...
Dean Lowrey: [shakes his head, as if to shrug it off] What are they gonna do, kick us out of the country? We're leaving.
Colette Valois: It was a terrible mistake.
Dean Lowrey: What - the party or the singing?
Colette Valois: Coming to Berlin... at all.
[Colette boards the plane first and Dean follows her a few seconds later]
