SyFy Official Press Release
Ingredients for an utter failure but still watchable enough for mainstream viewers: Add a couple Barbie's, mix some special effects, come up with anything resembling a loose story, put on some techno music and last but not least include some thugs to add to the pace of the movie.
A result to be proud of: An extremely weak remake of the original movie which the mainstream (also called mass-) audience might even like! This is to what "sci-fi" TV movies have come down to...
This is a disgrace to television coming from the U.S.A... Money doesn't seem to be the problem here, creativity is. Where are the original concepts and hits?!
