Was originally meant to be shot in Manitoba, but this was changed to Kelowna, British Columbia due to personal connections between the producers and the local film commissioner, the availability of a substantial crew and extra base, and lower production costs.

Goofs:

Audio/visual unsynchronized: At the start of the charity dance and auction, the music that is played doesn't match up with what the camera shows the band playing. In particular, the drummer of the band is shown playing his drumkit, but there is no sound of the kit being played.

Love it!

I always loved the first Flicka and I wasn't a big fan of the second one. But seeing the commercials for this movie I wanted to buy it! Being an equestrian myself and a jumper I loved watching the eventing that they do in this movie! Flick has been a wonderful series and I really do recommend this series and this movie to everyone! Especially ones who know about riding and shows or to anyone who wishes to learn more!Even with the background and story plot it teaches you a lot about eventing and can give you a insight to what it looks like! Also some on what is expected when eventing with a wonderful story added in!From start to finish Flicka Country Pride is the best movie!
