Chanced on The Finder when channel jumping but watched every episode since series started except one when on holiday. Quirky story lines great characters and thoroughly enjoyable one hour..and probably most original on UK TV just now.

Just watched The Boy with a Bucket episode which had an unfinished ending to it which probably suggests no more. The ease with which The Finder killed three people was a revelation but not unexpected given his Army experiences and added to the originality of the series.

Michael Clarke Duncan was just great as Leo and it is so regrettable that he died so young given that I am 65 years of age and loving this great series.

Pleasantly suprised

Ok I have to say, I didn't really care much for this show as a whole. I though the acting was mediocre and there wasn't much, if any, character development over the course of the first 12 episodes. And I thought his one would be the same based in the first 20 minutes. But the ending of this episode (and the series) pretty much gave me everything I was looking for. Somehow they pulled off that mic drop ending I didn't know was possible. Overall a mediocre series, but an awesome ending.

Excellent send off

So Fox canceled it. But this finale was classy and the only honest way this wacky story could end. You can only shave the rules and cheat the system for so long before the system comes back on you - so many shows ignore this for season after season (that does get hard to take). It is amusing that one of the most zany shows is the one to deal the most honestly with that fact. In a way the cancellation almost seems to have liberated the writers.

The loss of Finder leaves a hole in the television palette for fun shows with characters who are all decent human beings. I can't think of another show like it. It some ways it reminded me of Numb3rs.

Small wonder it only lasted one season ... having flakes like guest stars patrick fischler and eric roberts didn't help any ... michael clarke duncan was the only redeeming value of this series ...
