Frank is back in Europe and it isn't long before he has a job; deliver a case containing a million euros from Paris to Marseilles. It isn't quite as simple as it sounds; two other drivers have been given the same task and the quickest will get a more profitable contract. Of course it turns out rather more complicated than he expected; two gangs, one Chinese the other Jamaican, are after the cash. They manage to rob one of the other transporters but rather than quitting the competition he decides to try and take Frank's case he fails and his passenger, the beautiful and mysterious Juliette decides to go the rest of the way with Frank whether he likes it or not! As they continue south they must deal with both gangs as they use deadly tactics to get their hands on the cases.
After a few episodes set in North America it is good to see Frank back in Europe where he belongs; there are so many series set in North America, it makes a change to have an English language series set in Europe. The story is simple but exciting and once again it reverts to the classic formula of Frank travelling with a beautiful woman. There is plenty of great action; this includes some entertaining fights, fleeing from armed gangs and exciting car stunts. We also get the expected comedy moments from Dieter; this time his goes on a date with a woman he met on the internet and her jealous boyfriend turns up. There is also a degree of poignancy as an old friend of Franks is killed leaving him to contact his girlfriend to tell her what happened. Overall an exciting return to form.
