Trivia

The murderer's name, Leroy Jenkins, is a reference to an Internet meme that grew from a viral video based on the game World of Warcraft. In the video, some gamers develop a complex battle strategy to get past a difficult challenge--only to find their plans ruined when a character named Leeroy Jenkins, whose handler had been away from his computer and was unaware of the strategy, simply charges into battle head on, shouting his own name as a rallying cry. His bewildered teammates scramble after him and in the ensuing mêlée, the entire group is killed. Shawn Spencer's introduction of the murderer ("Ladies and gentlemen...I give you Mr. LEEEEEEERROOOOOOOY JENKIIIINNNNSSS!") is very similar to the unfortunate player's battle cry. See more »

Quotes

Woody the Coroner: [Has spent the night spooning Lassiter] Calm down, Peaches. Come back to bed.
Carlton Lassiter: [Startled] Whatever you think happened last night didn't happen because nothing happened, you got it?
Shawn Spencer: That's nice, Lassie. Way to belittle the man.
Woody the Coroner: Yeah, Detective, I do have feelings.
Burton 'Gus' Guster: What is all over your face?
Woody the Coroner: [Wipes it] Yeah I can't be sure. Oh god, you didn't see a small Colombian with a hook for an arm did you?
Burton 'Gus' Guster: No.

Best Show on TV- So glad they are back!
30 October 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I had to write a review because I saw this show only had 8.9 stars!! WHAAAAT? Psych is very clever, quick witted and has so many cultural/TV references, I often have to whip my computer out during episodes to remind myself of where they came from! They even reference their own show!!! LOVE it! I even enjoy watching the video commentary on the DVD, its hysterical!!! They are not afraid to make fun of themselves and you can tell they are friends on and off screen, which I think makes for even better chemistry in this type of show. Dule Hill's character plays off James Roday's with amazing comedic fluidity! I also appreciate their commitment to "clean" fun. There is very little to no sex in the show. I love that they can find other things to laugh about, just another example of their cleverness!

Mad props to the creator, writers and actors for a job well done! And you know that's right!!!
