The Best Episode Of The Final Season
29 September 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Always In Control is probably one of the best episodes the show has ever had in its 8-year run and definitely the BEST EPISODE of the 8th season so far. Before I tell the reason why, let's recap the events in it first.

Bree was surprised when she realized that someone dug up the body of Gabrielle's stepfather.I think there is no need to say who it was but everybody's guess is as good as mine as after we have been through the past seven episodes.Meanwhile,Lynette begins to get jealous of his husband's present girlfriend that she started to spread lies about her particularly Penny. As for Gabrielle and Carlos, they convince their neighbors Bob and Lee that their daughters - Juanita and Celia - are not bad considering the latter want to name the gay couple as their guardians. Finally,Susan tries to find some inspiration to make her art better and makes a gigantic effort to make her hard-to-impress art teacher happy.

I felt that the plot and the development in the characters involved in the show took a major leap.It was a perfect episode. No question about it.There was tons of suspense after the body of Gabrielle's step father was dug up.Also, there were a lot of funny moments in it especially Gabrielle when she called Bree an "alcoholic" while drinking with many guns in her house.Wow!!!!!!!LOL The marriage of Lynette and Tom had a hilarious turn for a change. As for the gags brought by Gabrielle's children,it will definitely elicit lots of laughter. Finally,Susan's drawing of the burial was definitely creepy.I am looking forward to better episodes in this final season of the show.
