No, not the prestige drama The Post, soon in limited release for Oscar season, but rather his upcoming Ready Player One, an adaptation of Ernest Cline’s Vr-themed sci-fi novel. A great idea, surely, but now that CGI can render the fantastic and unlikely with (seemingly) so little effort, doesn't that negate the very sense of fantasy and the thrill of imagination? At any rate, we'll be there front and center.Speaking of thrills on a different scale, after Unknown (2011), Non-Stop (2014), and Run All Night (2014), director Jaume Collet-Serra and re-invented B-film action star Liam Neeson have another genre film for us in The Commuter, which looks every bit as lean and expert as their previous collaborations.Recommended READINGWe're eagerly anticipating the release of Paul Thomas Anderson's new film,

Third & Final Trailer for Train Movie 'The Commuter' with Liam Neeson

"You're trying to set me up." Lionsgate has debuted the third and final trailer for the action-thriller train movie starring Liam Neeson, titled The Commuter. This trailer doesn't waste time setting up the story or the first conversation, it just gets right into it and shows some of the action. From the same director of Non-Stop (the airplane movie) and The Shallows, this is about solving a crime on the train. Neeson plays an insurance salesman who gets mixed up in a conspiracy on his daily train commute home. Vera Farmiga, a "mysterious stranger", sits with him for a chat and things get very interesting. The cast includes Patrick Wilson, Killian Scott, Jonathan Banks, Sam Neill, Elizabeth McGovern, Florence Pugh, and Damson Idris. I am still curious about this, but really not expecting much with this January release date. Here's the third & final trailer (+ poster) for Jaume Collet-Serra's The Commuter,

Rampage Trailer Has The Rock Fighting Giant Mutant Monsters

Rampage Trailer Has The Rock Fighting Giant Mutant Monsters
Warner Bros. has unleashed the first trailer for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Rampage. The movie is an adaptation of the popular arcade game, which centers on several massive monsters destroying cities all over the world. It's a simple premise, but one that, combined with the star power of The Rock, has the makings of what could be the first genuinely good video game movie Hollywood has ever produced. At least on paper. But now we have the first footage to give us an idea of what Rampage, which arrives in theaters on April 20, 2018, is actually going to look like.

Rampage sees Dwayne Johnson as Primatologist Davis Okoye, a man who shares an unshakable bond with George, an extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. Unfortunately, a rogue genetic experiment goes awry and transforms this gentle ape into a raging monster, along with several other creatures around the world.

New trailer for Liam Neeson’s The Commuter

“You have until next stop to decide. What kind of person are you?”

That’s the thinly veiled threat made to Liam Neeson’s travelling salesman by Vera Farmiga’s butter-wouldn’t-melt blackmailer in the latest trailer for The Commuter. Jaume Collet-Serra’s action film is shaping up to be the best high-speed transport game of cat-and-mouse since Speed, and whilst the last director/star collaboration may have been more non-starter than Non-Stop, Serra is coming off the back of the terrific Blake Lively and seagull movie, The Shallows, so hopes are high for some high-octane fun.

“In this action-packed thriller, Liam Neeson plays an insurance salesman, Michael, on his daily commute home, which quickly becomes anything but routine. After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on his train before the last stop. As he works against the clock to solve the puzzle,

‘The Commuter’ Trailer: Liam Neeson Has A Ticket To Ride In Hitchcockian Train Thriller

‘The Commuter’ Trailer: Liam Neeson Has A Ticket To Ride In Hitchcockian Train Thriller
In the new trailer for the Jaume Collet-Serra-directed thriller The Commuter, Liam Neeson, once again, makes use of his special set of skills to get out of a life-or-death situation — and this time it’s on a train! This marks a second in-transit thriller collaboration between Neeson and Collet-Serra. The two previously worked on Non-Stop together. Liam Neeson in The Commuter Trailer: One Little Thing

Never play dare with Vera Farmiga. This just a hunch on my part, informed by the first trailer for The Commuter, in which businessman Liam Neeson meets a stranger on a train (Farmiga) who suggests he do "one little thing," which then leads to death, disaster, and dodgy CGI, and the promise of more. Jaume Collet-Serra directed; he's worked with Neeson before on Unknown, Non-Stop and Run All Night, and with Farmiga on Orphan. He's done a fine job of crafting pulse-pounding thrillers, even when the material veers towards the ludicrous, so I'm hoping for more of the same when The Commuter opens in theaters on January 12, 2018. The Commuter Trailer #2 Has Liam Neeson Back in Action

The Commuter Trailer #2 Has Liam Neeson Back in Action
Just over a month after the first trailer arrived, Lionsgate has released a second trailer and a new poster for The Commuter, featuring Liam Neeson in what was originally thought to be one of his final action roles, since the actor hinted last month he's retiring from action movies. He later clarified in another interview that he isn't retiring from action movies, adding that he'll keep, "doing action movies until they bury me in the ground." While it at one point seemed that The Commuter was the end of the Liam Neeson action movie era, fans will still have many more Liam Neeson action movies to look forward to.

In this action-packed thriller, Liam Neeson plays an insurance salesman, Michael, on his daily commute home, which quickly becomes anything but routine. After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on

‘The Commuter’: New Trailer Has Liam Neeson Facing Problems with Public Transit

Lionsgate has released a new The Commuter trailer. The film stars Liam Neeson as an insurance salesman on his daily commute who is drawn into a dangerous game where he must uncover the secret identity of one of his fellow passengers or face the consequences. The film reteams with Neeson with his director Jaume Collet-Serra, who previously directed the actor in the action-thrillers Unknown, Non-Stop, and Run All Night. Neeson has said that The Commuter will be the last action film he does, so hopefully they make it count. The premise looks suitably loony, and yet it …

Second Trailer for Train Thriller 'The Commuter' Starring Liam Neeson

"Most of us ride this train every day. We nod, we say hello, but how much do we really know about each other?" Lionsgate has debuted the second trailer for the action-thriller train movie starring Liam Neeson, titled The Commuter. From the same director of Non-Stop (the airplane movie) and The Shallows, this movie is basically Unstoppable (the train movie) meets Non-Stop (or even Source Code). Neeson plays an insurance salesman who gets mixed up in a criminal conspiracy on his daily train commute home. This looks like it has tons of action and will be intense to watch, I'm intrigued. Enjoy. Here's the second trailer (+ new poster) for Jaume Collet-Serra's The Commuter, direct from

Godless: first trailer for Steven Soderbergh's Netflix show

Joseph Baxter Kirsten Howard Oct 17, 2017

The first Godless trailer showcases Michelle Dockery and Jack O’Connell in a Western series produced by Steven Soderbergh...

Netflix's new offering Godless looks to put an intriguing twist on the conventional concept of the Western.

With Steven Soderbergh, indie darling and esteemed big screen blockbuster director of the Ocean’s Eleven film franchise, attached as an executive producer to the 7-episode limited series created by Scott Frank, look for some twists and turns not traditionally found in the arid, dusty, tumbleweed-strewn genre.

Have a look...

Godless story

The trailer focuses on the trials and tribulations of an outlaw, named Roy Goode (Jack O’Connell). With the events of the series taking place in the 1880s American West, we see intermittent Kung-Fu-esque flashbacks to Roy’s upbringing, where he was raised by anti-hero outlaw Frank Griffin (Jeff Daniels) - and with whom he eventually becomes partners in crime.
