Storyline
Afsal Hamid, the Syrian last survivor of Brody's prison guards and torturers, has been arrested and extradited by the Pakistani secret service. Saul Berenson can barely prevent Carrie, who steals psycho-pharmaceuticals from her father after her sister rationed hers, from wrecking her career by opposing Brody being used for the interrogation. It seems to yield results, but shortly after the deputy director allows Brody to vent his feelings to Afsal, the key prisoner, who seemed ready to trade information for his family's safety, commits suicide with a mysteriously smuggled-in mini-razor blade.
