Josh Duhamel is ready to host and we’re ready to watch. From the red purple carpet, hosted by Khloe Kardashian and Terrance Jenkins to the award show with A-list appearances, this is where all the best moments will take place.
Khloe has already said she doesn’t want to get slimed tonight, while host Josh promised there will be quite a few of it.
Opening the show are performances by Pitbull and Christina Aguilera, who both always put on a good show. Also set to perform is Ke$ha, who showed up in a Dumb & Dumber-inspired suit.

Zachary Gordon is hardly a "Wimpy Kid!" The 15-year old star of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days is the winner of the KidsPickFlicks.com Pick Actor award for the second year in a row! Doawk: Dog Days won the Pick Movie Award with 64% of the vote, beating out The Hunger Games, The Avengers, Ice Age: Continental Drift and Best Animated Picture Oscar nominee Wreck-It Ralph.
Parental Guidance had its share of success, too. The family film's Bailee Madison won Pick Actress for her portrayal of a talented violinist being pushed by her mom to pursue "her dream" and Kyle Harrison Breitkopf, who played her little feisty
brother, won for Pick Scene Stealer.
Kids voted Dark Shadows as the Ick Movie of the Year, that distinction goes to the film that kids found the most disappointing.

The Hunger Games and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days lead the pack with Pick Movie nods + 2 acting nods. At KidsPickFlicks.com, kids vote for the best film, performances by a kid actor and kid actress, and scene stealer in 2012 as well as the most disappointing movie of the year. Kids 17 and younger can vote at KidsPickFlicks.com. The winner will be announced Wed., Feb. 20.

The full list of nominees for the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards — hosted by Josh Duhamel on March 23 — were released Feb. 13, and some of our favorites are getting big-time honors. Not only are exes Taylor Swift and Harry Styles taking their war of words to the KCAs stage, but Kristen Stewart will also face off against her big-screen rival Jennifer Lawrence. The nominees for the Nickelodeon's 26th Kids Choice Awards were announced withThe Avengers leading the movie category with six nods. As usual, overlap does exist between the KidsPickFlicks Pick Awards - where kids vote for the movies and performances from kids they deem the Best - and the KCAs which are not limited to kids and more about what's popular. Nominees which are also nominated for a Pick Award have an asterik next to them.
Kudos to Zachary Gordon, the only kid movie actor to get a nomination in the KCAs (and also a Pick Actor nominee and past Pick Actor winner)!

Chicago – Most former kids can agree that junior high is pure hell. It’s the dividing line between the carefree bliss of elementary school and the budding maturity of high school. Suddenly kids are faced with a decision: either assert their dominance over the weakest of their peers or risk joining them. Become a bully or be bullied. Neither option is enticing.
Jeff Kinney’s “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” book series connected with young readers who related to its awkward protagonist, Greg Heffley, whose misadventures were conveyed through a cheerful amalgamation of journal entries, illustrations and comics. The film adaptations, however, have been more interested in capturing Kinney’s broadly comic sensibility rather than his nuggets of truth. Instead of illuminating the humanity within Kinney’s caricatures, the films exploit their quirks in nauseatingly cynical fashion.

Even if the Diary of a Wimpy Kid films being of a decidedly low quality in terms of writing and its leading child actors isn’t enough to see the franchise torpedoed by Fox, there’s another element that might force its hand: the kids in question don’t really fit their roles all that well anymore. Kids, and humans in general, have a nasty habit of aging, but kids are particularly difficult in that way as their physical changes tend to be a bit more profound. In the case the series’ lead Zachary Gordon, he’s at the point where he was arguably too old to play the role this time around in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, but there were so many other problems that an issue like that takes a backseat.
