Channel Chasers is Better
StephenBurg24 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Timmy finally makes a million wishes and the Fairy Council is checking over everything he wished for. However, because everything ended in disaster, he's on trial. Foop finds out that Timmy made a secret wish, which was that nobody will age so he can stay with his fairies forever. The writing is a huge plot hole and unoriginal. (i.e All the unwished things go to Unwish Island, but here they go to Hocus Pocunas or something). This episode has a plot similar to "Channel Chasers", "A Fairly Odd Movie," and "Wishology." The jokes are very hit and miss. The one I thought was the most irrelevant was when everything turned Back to Normal in the BTTF logo. If you like the show "The Fairly Odd Parents", then stop watching the movies up to Fairly Odd Baby. If you love the show, then you might want to see this, but I'm not sure how you'll react to it. My rating: 5/10 TV-Y7

Such a loving special!

While there are a few minutes that irk me, I really enjoyed this special! People always go on about how much Timmy grew up in Channel Chasers, but how can they ignore the love Timmy displays for Cosmo and Wanda, his real family, and his determination to stay with them as long as he can. How is that NOT admirable?! Plus, this episode is hilarious! Better than Channel Chasers, in my opinion.

Also, I look at the moment when Father Time returned things to normal as the moment that split the Fairly OddParents timeline in different directions: one with Season 9, one with season 10, one with Fairly Odder, one toward the live-action films, and one toward the new rumored reboot.

I give this special 2 thumbs up!

Timmy's Blatant Ratings Trap!

Warning: Spoilers
Unlike the other hour long specials of the show, it's clear that this one was made with no intent other than to try draw in as many viewers as possible; this is clear even by only having watched it once. The episode builds up an exciting mystery but doesn't even reveal it in a dramatic or interesting way and also pads out so much time with the million wishes filler and retconning a bunch of older episodes and rules. As well as not being funny at all and having a bad song, the characters are all unlikeable as usual and are all either stupid or don't care about eachother at all and the story is lame with a dumb resolution. So overall, this is a pretty trash special!!

The Season that assassinated the show.

Warning: Spoilers
The Fairly Oddparents is probably the most popular and recognizable nicktoon, just under SpongeBob. Due to its sucess, it became Nickelodeon's money printer for years. The show would have easily ended at 2006, but they decided to (affortunately) end it 12 years later, on 2018, after Butch's Hartman retire from Nickelodeon. Some people say that Poof, Sparky, the live actions or Chloe killed the show. But the truth is that Poof didn't do really anything to the show, and Sparky, the Live Actions and Chloe came out when the show was dead already. I don't have any problem with Poof, neither with Foop, but for me, the season that condemned to death FOP, was the eight season. No segments, just 6 chapters, which actually 2 are occupied by this special so it's actually 5.

This special kills all the logic and the timeline of the series. Timmy is now considered the worst godchild ever, even if they know that there's even worse, like Mary-Ann that literally caused WW1 killing the Archduke Franz Ferdinand?

Apparently, now, 50 years have happened since the pilot. But didn't 1 year just gone on Abra Catastrophe? 49 years have now happened since that? From Season 3 to 8, 49 years have happened?

And also Crocker helps Timmy with no actually reason, he just helps him for the plot's good, Crocker absolutely made Timmy's life worse, giving him Fs and disturbing him asking all the time about his Fairies, and he's gonna help him, why?

And no, these are just a few of the plotholes this episode has, because oh God, this episode has so much plotholes.
