Last week we had Renee Taylor as a guest-star and the show ended on a very good note this week as Peter Shaughnessy leads an impressive end-story. He's the book writer who Fran becomes enamored with only to learn that he is after Peter. Can Fran really be at strike two? Even mom Rita Moreno observes that she was born to find gay men.

The story becomes hilarious when both Pete and Fran are invited to Shaughnessy's home without each other knowing that the other shall be here.

The episode succeeds because we're not only dealing with homosexuality, but with bisexuality as well.
