Storyline

A surprising visitor makes House an offer he can't refuse by giving him the opportunity to help the Princeton Plainsboro team treat a unique patient in order to save the life of an organ recipient being administered by Wilson. Although House finds himself back on familiar ground, he quickly realizes that much has changed since he left, and he is forced to work on the case with smart yet timid resident Dr. Chi Park. After several inconclusive treatments and with time running out, House and Dr. Park are left with one last option to examine the patient's medical history that could compromise House's conditional agreement with the hospital. Meanwhile, House makes an effort to reconnect with Wilson despite a cold reception. Written by Fox Publicity

Trivia

In the first ten minutes of the episode, House compares Dr. Chi Park to "Kato" and her car to "Black Beauty"; this is a reference to the Green Hornet series and movie. The movie came out earlier in 2011, starring Seth Rogen as Britt Reid (Van Williams in the series from the sixties) and Kato played by Jay Chou (Bruce Lee in the series). Notably, neither Asian actor shares exactly the same heritage as Dr. Park's character, which is the point of House's mockery. See more »

Goofs

When House enters the visiting room in the prison with Foreman, the computer clearly has the lid opened. When the camera changes angle to see Foreman's view, the computer is shut. See more »

Quotes

Dr. Eric Foreman: [to House] Get this straight. You break the law, you go back to jail. Scam extra Vicodin, back to jail. Flout my authority, make the hospital look bad, back to jail. I own you.
Dr. Gregory House: Yes, massa.
Dr. Eric Foreman: See, that would be an example.

Amazing acting
16 October 2011 | by See all my reviews

All the characters apart from House are weak, though I did quite like the Surgeon chap. The Cuddy relationship thing was dumb in season 7, so without her things will improve. The new Chinese chick is whiny and there is no tension between her and the MD. Bad acting by the girl or bad directing, hard to know which. As with season 7, the casting is terrible, at least in this episode. I much preferred the House in Prison opener. That had great characters. The episode was not so good, yet highly entertaining, like all House episodes. The writers write House well, and everyone else badly. At least this episode they didn't overuse the words idiot and childish.
