Storyline
A medical researcher's body has disappeared from the street where he was fatally shot. Actually the van which collected him thus fulfilled a cryogenics contract, triggered by a death alarm. retrieving the bullet would 'kill' the corpse, so a compromise is struck: the severed head remains frozen. That proves the wrong choice, while possible motives are sifted true in the man's complicated personal, medical and scientific life and the project's funding motivation before another crime occurs. Did You Know?
Goofs
Kate tells the suspect that the Crime Scene Unit has determined that his gun was fired that morning. This would be impossible. While it is easily determined if a gun has been fired, it is nearly impossible to determine when it was fired. Gun powder residue could have been left in the barrel minutes before it was found or years. The only real date you could use would be if you knew when the last time it had been cleaned, and then you would know it had been fired between then and now.
