Storyline

A dancer is followed home and raped by a man with a distinctive tattoo, and the details of the attack remind Rollins of a serial rapist she was tracking back home. The detectives arrest Gabriel Thomas, a family man who maintains his innocence, but his description and DNA match this assault and the string of rapes across multiple states that Rollins had been investigating. Although the evidence supports the arrest, the more Detectives Benson and Amaro dig into Thomas' past, the more they begin to believe his story. Written by NBC Publicity

The life he didn't have
15 December 2015 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

T.R. Knight gives a pair of good performances in this SVU episode about twin brothers separated at birth. One's led a very successful life with wife and child and the other's become a serial rapist. But rapist with an agenda.

This story is also a tale of two SVU detectives. It's Kelli Giddish who recognizes a pattern from her Atlanta days and T.R. Knight is arrested. But it's Danny Pino who feels that the arrest of the Yuppie Knight doesn't feel right and he keeps the case alive so that a twin is discovered.

The second Knight is a day laborer in Central Park picking up the leaves. He knew of the Yuppie's existence but the reverse isn't true. That's the key to this whole story and it's the reason for laborer Knight's curious agenda.

There's a one scene performance that's a beauty by Connie Ray who is the biological mother and who gave them up two the differing families that raised the boys. Talk about white trash.

Of the cast this belongs to Pino and Giddish, but T.R. Knight is outstanding in the dual role.
