- Open with Sebastian (Grant Gustin) meeting Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) at a coffee shop. He threatens to post an unflattering Photoshoppped nude picture of Finn (Cory Monteith) on the internet if she doesn't drop out of regionals.
Finn is talked down from going to beat up Sebastian when it's explained it could result in disqualification. Rachel says she's going to perform anyway. Finn is upset. She mentions her NYADA application depends on their winning.
Sue (Jane Lynch) tells Quinn (Dianna Agron) she's pregnant. She's taking strange hormones and is having severe morning sickness. Quinn wants to rejoin the Cheerios. Sue says it wouldn't be fair to the rest of the team.
Blaine (Darren Criss) has a new song he wants to try out for regionals. While we listen to him sing "Cough Syrup", we see Karofsky (Max Adler) finds 'FAG' has been spray painted on his locker. We see him go home and read harassment on various social media sites. With tears streaming down his face, Karofsky then puts on a suit and prepares to hang himself.
Figgins (Iqbal Theba) tells some staff members Karofsky's attempt failed. He's concerned that it might induce a string of copycats. Everyone feels like they could have done more.
The God Club talks about Karofsky. Apparently, some students at his new school saw him with Kurt at Breadsticks and spread the word. Karofsky is in the hospital, alive only because his father found him in time. Quinn thinks Karofsky was being selfish. Kurt stops by and is disappointed at Quinn's insensitivity. Kurt is there because he heard they were praying for Karofsky. He feels responsible after rejecting him and ignoring his calls.
Rachel says she's not going to compete at regionals. Finn says he doesn't care about the picture. She says she wants to get married after regionals.
Sebastian calls a meeting with a few members of the New Directions to tell them he's no longer going to try and cheat. He feels particularly guilty because he was nasty to Karofsky when he had reached out for advice about being gay.
Will (Matthew Morrison) tells the kids he considered suicide when he was in high school after being caught cheating. He stood near the edge of a rooftop and considered jumping. He says "everyone has something that might take them up to that edge." He gets the kids to start talking about what they are looking forward to.
The regional judges are introduced: Three people with no connection to music. The Warblers are first up and perform "Stand." Finn stands up and cheers, because "life is too short." After the song, Sebastian asks for donations to one of the school's charities. Their next offering is "Glad You Came." The all-girl Golden Goblets are next to perform.
Backstage Will pumps up the guys. Finn tells them they're going to get married after the competition. They don't want to wait anymore, just to "live every day like it's our last."
New Directions begins with mash up of "Fly" and "I Believe I Can Fly." They follow that with "What Doesn't Kill You,". We can see the Warblers are cheering for them as well. Rachel take the stage by herself and starts performing "Here's To Us." Eventually everybody else joins her. The crowd loves it.
McKinley ends up winning the regional title.
Sue has Quinn back in her office and invites her back to the Cheerios.
Quinn finds Rachel in the hall and says she wants to support her and Finn by attending their wedding.
Kurt visits Karofsky in the hospital. A tearful Kurt says he's happy Karofsky is alive. Karofsky says he's lost his best friend and his mother thinks he has a curable disease. Kurt thinks he should go to a different school, though no matter where he ends up it will difficult. Kurt pledges to help. Kurt has Karofsky imagine a successful life ten years down the road with a committed partner and a child. They take each other's hand and promise to be friends.
Before the wedding, Sue tells Will she is pregnant. She thinks New Directions can win at nationals and offers to help. Burt (Mike O'Malley) still thinks the marriage is a terrible idea. The parents argue over how disastrous the situation really is. The plan is for all four of them to object at the appropriate point in the ceremony. Rachel's dads will grab her and rush her to Broadway.
Finn and Rachel are all set to go into the chapel for the wedding. Quinn sends a text. She's running home for her bridesmaid dress. We see her stuck behind a tractor as Rachel texts her to "HURRY!" Santana (Naya Rivera) doesn't think Quinn is going to make it. Rachel doesn't want to start before she gets there. Finn comes in and says if they don't start right now, they will lose their slot: "It's now or never." Rachel sends another text to Quinn asking where she is. We see Quinn reach over to text she is on her way when she is violently T-boned by a car on the driver's side.
