I like that it touches on labels like geeks, gays, and disabled people. Kurt got tortured by Dave, slushies were thrown at the glee club no matter if they were on football team or not. Down syndrome people are called retarded. Santana calls Finn and the others names, but also respects them. In hs, it is all about labels and in adulthood, it still is. People like Grant Gustin's character continue to label and bash others into adulthood. They do not want to change, but at least his character wanted to compete fairly after Dave tried to kill himself and corrected what he had done. Some people do not want to do that. I respect people like Kurt and Blaine who do not take the easy way out by suicide like many are doing now. McKinley's teachers blame themselves for not doing more for Dave or even knowing about it, but how can one help if the person is not willing to talk about it? He should have gone back to McKinley because he would have help from Kurt and Blaine.the football players may be weirded out, but at least there would have been help. Santana came out also.
