According to C.K., the scene with Dane Cook was originally supposed to take place at the Carolines comedy club where Louie is often shown performing. Cook suggested that the scene take place at Madison Square Garden and that Louie would be overwhelmed by Cook's success. C.K. angrily refused to change it and accused Cook of being megalomaniacal. But producer Vernon Chatman convinced C.K. that the scene would be funnier using Cook's suggestion. See more »
