Storyline

Darryl gets Roo to accept student Casey as house-mate. Taking Brax's advice, new house-mate Romeo flatters 'wise' Alf, so as to avoid having the yacht taken away, but has to accept the nagger as full partner. Inspector David Joyce from HQ presses Charlie to pursue the obvious link Heath represents between drug gang and rape charge. Darryl has no choice but tip off Heath, regardless of the strain on his love-life. Liam tells Bianca she couldn't cheat with a worse fiend then Heath, being his former drug dealer, which she reports to Charlie but refuse to make that official. Written by KGF Vissers

"They're running rings around us, wouldn't you say?"

Although the episode is rather awkward, there do seem to be a few decent ideas bubbling below the surface.Charlie is finally called to account for her recent poor performance, with the arrival of Inspector Joyce to take her to task.Brax attempts to straddle both worlds only to find he fits in neither of them, with Heath rejecting his advice and with him unable to be what Charlie wants him to be.Heath is actually coming across as more likable than either of them and it's hard not to cheer him getting the last word both times.

Liam's treatment of Bianca is a bit hard to justify, whatever his history with Heath, and the set-up at what's apparently now Roo's place is a bit hard to fathom:Casey living there doesn't make much sense, neither does Liam sleeping on the sofa when there seems to be three spare rooms.Alf's plot line makes for uncomfortable viewing:It feels like the audience is supposed to agree with Morag, yet her views are pretty hypocritical and nonsensical.Whilst it's true Alf has muscled in on Romeo's business proposal, it's hardly practical for him to give Romeo free rein, especially when his ideas don't sound practical in the first place.
