Storyline

Dean is resting in Las Vegas and out of the blue, he receives the invitation for Sam's wedding. Further, the wife-to-be is Becky Rosen. Dean is sure that there is some sort of black magic involved but he cannot prove or find any evidence. Meanwhile there are two freak murders in the city and Bobby sends the odd hunter Garth Fitzgerald IV to team up with Dean. Soon they discover that the demon Guy is luring his victims with greedy pacts to get their souls in fake accidents. Written by Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Sam in love
16 June 2017 | by See all my reviews

We have got one of the funny episodes in this eight one of season 7. And we, the fans, are the luckiest for it, because "Season Seven, Time for a Wedding!" is a blast.

Sam is marrying... Becky. Yes, that a little bit too enthusiastic Becky. And he seems to be extremely happy, blissful. Dean, of course, knows something is awry.

What we get from here is a very funny episode, with a simple but enthralling story-line, filled with silly moments, Sam being over- the- top in love and Dean having to share his time with a new partner. From DJ Qualls as Dean's temporal partner, to Emily Perkins's Becky, everyone does a great job. And the meta moments are also a hilarious.

It is great to have some light episodes like this one that are also engaging and have some tongue-in-cheek moments for the fans, constantly winking at them.
