Dr. Hank Lawson:
[
Evan hits a cream puff at Hank's car]
Whoa! Trying to tell me something?
Evan R. Lawson:
No. General Collins has a message for you, though. He said stay the hell away.
Dr. Hank Lawson:
What?
Evan R. Lawson:
Yeah, he stopped by after taking his wife home from Hamptons Heritage.
Dr. Hank Lawson:
No, no, no, no. Ellen shouldn't be home. She should still be under supervised care.
Evan R. Lawson:
Oh, really? 'Cause you just always know what's best for everyone, don't you?

Loved the episode, but there were several continuity and medical errors in the episode. When Dr Lawson discovered the nanny having a seizure who then became unresponsive, he placed EKG leads on the patient. The monitor read that he was in "Lead II", but the leads were placed incorrectly for Lead II. Lead II is "white on the right, red to the ribs, what's left over (black), over the left shoulder" or "White to right, smoke over fire". On three separate views of the patient, the leads were in different locations each time. Discovering the patient was in V-Fib, he then placed the defib paddles over the patients clothes after applying gel to the paddles. In this situation, the blouse should be removed or opened to give better contact with the skin. He then discovered she was in Torsades de Pointes, and gave Magnesium...when done. I suspect that any ICU nurse or ER tech would not make these errors let alone an ER doc.
