Episode cast overview, first billed only:

Nicholas Brody quickly proves himself a welcome father for already doting son Chris and even brat Dana, who for his sake swallows her objections to a "hero's perfect family" TV show, despite her mother's adultery. Prince Farid Bin Abbud nearly catches Lynne Reed copying his cellphone, which yields no information about financial transactions the CIA hopes to trace, and gives her a precious diamond necklace. Since the CIA refused to provide a protection team and Carrie and Virgil fail to trace her in time, her murderer can easily escape with the necklace. As Saul guesses, it is later used to buy a home for terrorist leader Abu Nazir and his cover wife. Written by KGF Vissers

Eighteen minutes in, Carrie and Saul are facing each other in a heated walkway discussion. Camera focused on Carrie. You see a woman walk from what would be behind Saul, past Carrie. Discussion concludes, camera focuses on Saul as he turns and walks away from Carrie. Camera focuses on Carrie - and the same woman as before (who should be way past Carrie) again enters the frame from in front of her and walks past her. See more »

Saul Berenson: Everyone lies in this business, I accept that. But we all draw lines somewhere, and the two sides of that line are us and them. And whatever we had you and I, whatever trust we built up over a decade of me protecting you and teaching you everything I know, you destroyed it when you lied to me and you treated me like them. Like every other schmuck in this building. So when you say you understand, is that what you mean?

Clean Skin

Prince Farid (Amir Arison) leaves the room after having sex with Lynne (Brianna Brown). While he's gone, Lynne takes the opportunity to download the contents of his phone using the device Carrie gave her. Finishing undetected, the Prince returns and presents Lynne with a gift: a diamond necklace.

Carrie (Claire Danes) briefs a team at headquarters regarding the lead on Abu Nazir. She reports that Prince Farid was seen talking to Nazir, and that her asset has procured the Prince's phone data. She expects there to be evidence of a money transfer on the phone. Later, Carrie has another rendezvous with Lynne, who delivers the contents of the Prince's phone. Lynne says she's barely left the Prince's side for over a year, and expresses doubt that he could have terrorist connections. Carrie turns the phone data over to an analyst at the CIA, but they find nothing at all incriminating.

The Prince is interviewed by the police regarding Lynne's murder and seems genuinely devastated, further casting doubt on his involvement. Carrie is wracked with guilt after she promised Lynne protection that wasn't really there. Saul tries to get her mind back on the case. Carrie speculates that the true connection to Abu Nazir might not be the Prince, but somebody in his entourage. Saul notes that there's a missing diamond necklace, and jewelry is often used as a conduit for financing terrorist operations.
