CGI effects were used to make the corridors in the storage unit look longer. Moreover, the ceiling of the storage unit was also done with CGI.

It was at first named after famous storage company in the UK but the company behaved very badly towards the filmmakers and the title had to be changed.
Released in the US for one day at one theater where it made the grand total of $72 before being released on VOD.
Noel Clarke found the various scenes with mannequins hard to film because he has a fear of mannequins.

After experiencing huge difficulties in getting his previous screenplays Kidulthood (2006) and Adulthood (2008) produced, Noel Clarke set himself the test of writing a straight genre piece that would get greenlit easily. This proved to be the case with Storage 24 (2012) which was rushed through pre-production.

The original plan was to have the alien be a CGI creation. However, director Johannes Roberts wasn't keen on this approach as he had just made _Roadkill_ in Ireland with plenty of CGI and hated the experience.
