- Dr. Eve Lockhart and her three assistants Rosie, Mike and Oggy are forensic scientists at the 'body farm'. They are called in by inspector Hale when the remains of two youths are found in a derelict tower block. It is initially assumed that they were bombers who blew themselves up but Eve believes they were murdered prior to the explosion. DNA links them to Jojo Collins,a pregnant girl who attempted suicide and is now in a coma. Jojo's father,an ex-soldier,admits to killing the boys because they raped her but Eve believes he is sheltering somebody else. Forensics and detection will work out just who.—don @ minifie-1
- Pathologist Dr. Eve Lockhart is called out by DI Hale when the police discover a room where the walls are covered with flesh. She and her colleagues work at the body farm, a government research facility but with a shortage of labs to undertake forensic analysis, they agree to assist the police. Eve thinks that the remains in the room represent more than one body and it seems they were blown to bits. They identify one from the police DNA data bank as 19 year-old Philip Britain who had been arrested for violent behavior at a football match and reported missing by his mother 4 weeks ago. They're also quite sure that the victims were killed elsewhere in the building with their bodies moved into the flat where their remains were found. Forensic evidence leads them to believe that Britain and his mate had given a date-rape drug to JoJo Collins who subsequent attempted suicide and is now in hospital brain dead. JoJo's father tries to claim responsibility for blowing the two boys up but the forensic evidence points elsewhere.—garykmcd
