From almost banned to winning Best Documentary in Australia

Donkey Love is about a very bizarre cultural tradition in Colombia. You'll learn about something you probably never even knew existed in this world, and that's what documentary film is all about. There aren't very many humorous, yet informative, documentaries but Donkey Love is on that list. It's filled with jokes, smack talk and ridiculous on screen antics. Some people will love Donkey Love and some will hate it. August 2012 sums it all up nicely when Donkey Love was almost banned in Australia ahead of the Melbourne festival, but the censors didn't ban it, and instead it played to a full-house and it went on to win Best Documentary.
