Lindsay Lohan Wary That Her Past Might Undercut Her Chances Of Playing Batgirl

Lindsay Lohan as the next Barbara Gordon? Don’t count on it.

On last week’s episode of The Wendy Williams Show (h/t Batman-News), the former Mean Girls actress conceded that because people tend to dredge up her criminal record at every opportunity, the chances of “meeting with people to do Batgirl” are slim at best. Ditto for Mean Girls 2, and we’re not talking about Melanie Mayron’s standalone sequel.

You can’t fault her for trying, as Lindsay Lohan is clearly dead set about taking up the Batgirl mantle for Warner Bros. and Joss Whedon. Still, with such high-profile misdemeanors and probation violations on her record, it’d be a big,

According to New Report, “Pitch Perfect 3” is Secretly “Pentagon Propganda,”

Pitch Perfect was a sleeper hit from 2012 featuring an a cappella group of all girls competing against another a cappella group from the same college. Said movie proved popular enough to inspire a sequel called Pitch Perfect 2 in 2015 and a second sequel called Pitch Perfect 3 in 2017. The last movie has met with a much more mixed response from both the critics and the consumers. There are still those who like it, but at the same time, there are also those who find it unappealing because it is straining to capture the magic of the first

How Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle proved doubters wrong

Simon Brew Jan 16, 2018

It's become a surprise commercial and critical hit - so what has the new Jumanji film got right?

Spoilers lie ahead for Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle.

Over the weekend, I was back at my local multiplex to see the quite wonderful Coco. On the way in, I saw the manager of said picture palace, and we had a bit of a chat. He’s a friendly man, and just the kind of manager you want: always checks that everyone’s okay, is there if anything goes wrong.

He’s also good for a bit of insider chat, too. And we got talking about Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle.

I don’t think I was alone in inwardly sighing when I first learned of a reboot/sequel to Jumanji. I don’t hold massive affection for the original (although I thought Zathura was great), but still enjoyed it.

17 Netflix Original Movies Coming in 2018

Netflix announced late last year that they have no less than 80 new projects in the pipeline for release this year, and a huge amount of those will be original movies. It's hard enough keeping up with everything at the multiplex, but now it's getting even harder to discover which, of the many movies, we need to watch on Netflix streaming. Don't worry. We have you covered.

Love Netflix? Hate Netflix? You can't argue that they are an entertainment juggernaut. It would be enough if they were simply the company who made streaming viable. However, what they have become as a production/distribution powerhouse just about thwarts all of that. Making this even more impressive is the litany of content that Netflix continues to produce. Whether it is the animal conscious Okja, or the Training Day meets Alienation mash-up Bright, or the litany of documentary or TV shows (Orange Is the New Black,

Thanks to the New Blockers Trailer, You Can Now Watch John Cena Butt-Chug a Beer
How far would you go to c*ckblock your teenager? Not as far as John Cena, probably. The philanthropic wrestler - who is engaged to Nikki Bella but has no real-life kids of his own - plays a doting helicopter dad in Blockers, an upcoming comedy from Pitch Perfect's Kay Cannon. Cena stars alongside Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz, who join forces to keep their three daughters from having sex on prom night after stumbling upon their suggestive text messages. The new, Nsfw trailer contains classic one-liners like, "Let's c*ckblock those motherf*ckers," and "What would Vin Diesel do?" so yes, it's worth watching (oh, Cena also chugs a beer with his butt, Nbd).
