This Anna Kendrick Fan Encounter Is Both Cringeworthy and Hilarious

10 July 2014 5:38 AM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Well, this is awkward. Back in March, Anna Kendrick tweeted a plea to fans to not attempt to take photos with her when she is picking up prescriptions at the drugstore. At the time, the tweet seemed innocent enough, but now a Reddit user has pointed out the Anna fan who may or may not have sparked the Pitch Perfect star's privacy plea. The user shared the picture below of a young man excitedly posting a picture of himself with Anna at a Cvs on his Facebook page. However, a little bit later, he saw Anna's antipicture tweet. "Apparently it was the wrong time to ask for a photo," he wrote. "Whoops." Hey, at least she posed for a snap! Even though it's kind of aca-awkward, we'll just add this to our list of reasons to love Anna Kendrick. See the Facebook image and Anna's tweet below. Source: Getty / Jason »

Sacha Baron Cohen Films 'Grimsby' In England With Mark Strong

9 July 2014 9:00 PM, PDT | Uinterview | See recent Uinterview news »

Sacha Baron Cohen was dressed in character on the streets of Essex while filming scenes for Grimsby Thursday afternoon with costar Mark Strong.

Sacha Baron Cohen, Mark Strong Film Grimsby

For the day on set, Cohen looked nearly unrecognizable in a shaggy wig with bangs and mutton chops stretching down to his chin. In his role as a British soccer hooligan, Cohen sported a English national team jersey paired with wide-legged jean capris and sport sandals with socks. The Borat actor also appeared to be wearing a fake beer belly under his jersey top.

In the comedy feature, Cohen plays a supporter of lower league squad Grimsby Town, in Purfleet, England. The hapless soccer junkie is ultimately roped into a spy mission with his brother – a James Bond-styled spy agent played by Strong.

Cohen’s wife Isla Fisher, Pitch Perfect’s Rebel Wilson, Ian McShane and Gabourey Sidibe are all among the cast. »

I’m back! It’s been a long time and I apologise for that, moving house turned out to be a far far longer process than I anticipated or had been led to believe. Three weeks turned into six, six weeks turned into three months and now here we are.

Aside from the length of time it takes, moving house was a real eye opener in other areas too. Specifically in terms of how I inform you week on week of all of this wonderful content available to stream and then how you have to put up with lacklustre delivery from various ISPs.  I was living in someone else’s house on a connection that was not my own, not wanting to name names but there is one of the big three ISP’s in the UK which boasts about having one of, if not the, fastest broadband delivery on »

Skylar Astin and Ben Platt Celebrate Independence Day in New Pitch Perfect 2 Video

4 July 2014 5:57 PM, PDT | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

How about a little a cappella with your beer and BBQ this 4th of July?  The sequel to the fall 2012 hit, Pitch Perfect, is still over 10 months away, but two Treblemakers took a moment to indulge us with some sweet, sweet harmony in honor of the holiday.  The boys had a habit of stealing the spotlight from the Barden Bellas in the first film and now with Jesse (Skylar Astin) and Benji (Ben Platt) leading the group, there’s no doubt the same will be true in round two. Adam DeVine is back as Bumper in Pitch Perfect 2, but it’s hard to imagine him going right back to being Treblemaker #1 after ditching the guys for John Mayer, and especially after Jesse and Benji got the chance to show off their skills, too.  Longing for a little of that magic?  Hit the jump to catch the Pitch Perfect 2 »

John Cena Joins Tina Fey And Amy Poehler In The Nest

After popping up on the big screen a few years back with action-hero roles in fare like The Marine, 12 Rounds, Legendary and The Reunion, WWE champ John Cena is returning to the big screen with a role in Universal’s upcoming comedy The Nest, which will pair two-time Golden Globes hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler (both of whom are stars of the highest order on the small screen thanks to Fey’s 30 Rock and Poehler’s Parks & Recreation) for the first time since 2008′s Baby Mama.

Details on Cena’s role in the film are being kept under wraps, but some sources report he’ll be playing a bad guy in the flick (definitely something new for the wrestler/actor/rapper). The Academy Invites 271 New Members for 2014

The Academy has announced the new class of invited members for 2014 and, as is typical, many of which are among last year's nominees, which includes Barkhad Abdi, Michael Fassbender, Sally Hawkins, Mads Mikkelsen, Lupita Nyong'o and June Squibb in the Actors branch not to mention curious additions such as Josh Hutcherson, Rob Riggle and Jason Statham, but, okay. The Directors branch adds Jay and Mark Duplass along with Jean-Marc Vallee, Denis Villeneuve and Thomas Vinterberg. I didn't do an immediate tally of male to female additions or other demographics, but at first glance it seems to be a wide spread batch of new additions on all fronts. The Academy is also clearly attempting to aggressively bump up the demographics as this is the second year in a row where they have added a large number of new members, well over the average of 133 new members from 2004 to 2012.
