The armoured vehicle used by the police tactical team at the start of the film is fitted with LED warning lights. This type of light was not in use in 1995 - less efficient halogen or strobe beacons would have been used.
In the hospital, a Dell LCD monitor is seen next to Victor's bedside. CRT monitors (shown later in the film on the desk) were the most common at the time, with LCD's being incredibly expensive and still larger than shown. Up until around 2004, hospitals (especially older ones as depicted by Victor in the movie) would not have used LCD's and still used CRT's.
One of the members of the S.W.A.T. team that went after Daniel Lugo in the beginning of the film had a MAGPUL magazine on his rifle as he exited the APC. The MAGPUL magazine grip was not introduced until 1999, but the film takes place in 1995.
The gang used what looked like an X26 TASER against Victor in 1995 but the X-series TASER was not released until 1999. Although, they did release an earlier version of the TASER in 1994 but it was not the one used in the film.
The Crown Victoria models used in the movie are second generation that were produced from 1998 to 2011, since the movie takes place in 1995, they should be first generation 1995 1998, or Chevrolet Caprice Classic 2nd generation
When Lugo, Adrian, and Paul are standing over the tanning bed looking at the stacks of cash, the bills feature modern one-hundred dollar bill notes with large heads. The film takes place in 1995 and these bills would not be introduced until several years later.
(At about 24 mins) When Daniel, Paul and Adrian are driving westbound on the MacArthur Causeway, we can see the Port of Miami behind the car. The cargo loaders we see are newer, versatile, bright-white models. These were not installed until long after 1994. In 1994, the cargo loaders were older steel models with immovable cranes.
During Paul Doyle's flashback sequence when Paul has the shotgun pointed at him the sound of a pump-action shotgun is heard, but the gun pointed at Paul is an over/under shotgun. Over/under shotguns have a break-open action not a pump-action.
Sorina and Luminita are not Russian surnames, they are Romanian. Sorina comes from Soare (from the Sun) and Luminita means little light.
If Sorina Luminita comes from Transylvania is to remember that it's not in Russia but in Romania.
Just after Paul Doyle has taken cocaine and is doing inclined bench presses, he has two large plates (20kg each) and one smaller plate (probably 10kg) on one side of the barbell. In the next shot there are three large plates and in the one after that, just two large plates. Then the side affects of cocaine are shown and in the next shot he's back to two large plates and one smaller one.
In the opening scene when Daniel Lugo is running from the building, he is hit by the police car. When is is flipping in the air immediately after being hit, you can see a protective vest underneath his shirt sticking out. In the shots before and after this, he is clearly not wearing anything underneath his white tank top.
When Ed Dubois pulls up to the hotel in his car where Victor Kershaw is, the scene is shot from the side of his car, with the camera moving in closer as he comes to a stop. During that brief shot you can clearly see the whole crew reflected off the car, it's so detailed you can see them walking in as per the shot.
When they show Paul (Dwayne Johnson) serving time in Attica Correctional Facility, there is a shot where you can see palm trees in the background. Obviously there are no palm trees near Attica, as it is in New York State. The remainder of the shots you don't see palm trees.
The image shown when Adrian looks through the night vision goggles would not be visible. Without the protective cover on and the store illuminated, the night vision goggles would have too much light entering and would automatically shut off.
When Lugo gets back to the dry cleaners and scolds Doyle for barbecuing the victim's hands outside, they walk back inside to finish chopping up the bodies. If you look closely you can see that Griga's hand is still attached to his body.
In the Bahamas scene, where Kershaw sees Lugo fleeing on foot, he attempts to drive a car from the passenger seat. While the car is crashing through the small business stands, a stunt driver can be clearly seen driving, in multiple scenes which ends after the car crashes into the wall, giving us a clearer shot of the stunt driver.
When Adrian, Paul and Daniel are at the gun store and the clerk ask Adrian to test the taser on him, you can see that the pins do not actually stick to the clerk and therefor the taser would not do anything.
