Red Bull Media House Strengthens Partnership with Outside Television

If Red Bull gives you wings then Outside Television will be flying high for at least 45 more hours.

Outside TV — born of active-lifestyle magazine Outside — and Red Bull Media House have expanded their programming partnership for 45 more hours of original shows in the form of five new series and feature documentaries that will be rolled out within the next few weeks.

The two adventure houses inked their first deal in June 2012 when the energy drink company supplied four exclusive series and other primetime features for the independent channel’s weekly “Outside Film Festival.”

On the heels of the one-year anniversary of Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner’s record-breaking leap from space, the net will air three new documentaries focused on Baumgartner and his daredevil stunts. “Mission to the Edge of Space,” a behind-the-scenes look at Baumgartner’s Red Bull Stratos mission and the undisclosed challenges he overcame, premiers in January 2014.
