Trivia
John Hurt (The Man) has no lines in this film because it has no dialogue, so his distinctive gravelly voice is not heard. Commenting on the film, Hurt said "I don't think I've ever had something completely without words before, though I've done several films with very few words. The fact that one is either blessed or cursed with a voice that is recognisable is really of no consequence. I would be in poor shape if I relied on that!"
